Clinic Policies

Please call us at 604-609-4142 if you are unable to attend your appointment; 48-hours of notice is required for an appointment change and/or cancellation. 

A $150.00 NO SHOW FEE may be charged for any missed appointments (in person, telehealth, telephone). We may ask for payment before a missed appointment is re-booked.

The physicians and/or surgeons working in this office and/or clinic are licensed and registered with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of British Columbia. Verify their credentials through the registrant directory at www.cpsbc.ca.

We adhere to safety measures with regards to COVID19 in the clinic. Clinic staff will continue wearing masks; we ask that you do the same, and a mask can be provided if you have forgotten yours. Please wash/sanitize your hands upon arrival.

Please call our office to cancel your appointment if you are feeling unwell, or exhibiting any symptoms that might suggest an active infection (COVID19 or otherwise).  If you are unsure, please use the COVID19 screening tool.

The clinic is an inclusive space. All are welcome here. 

Abusive and/or intolerant language/behaviour will not be tolerated, either in person or on the telephone.

We acknowledge that the land on which we practice is the traditional and un-ceded territory of the Coast Salish Peoples, including the Musqueam, Squamish, and Tsleil-Waututh Nations. 

A friendly reminder that we speak only English in the clinic. Please bring a translator if this is needed.

This is a teaching facility; you may be scheduled with, and/or be seen by a Resident Doctor.

Please bring your provincial health card (BC, other provinces) to your appointment. If you do not have Canadian provincial health coverage, you may be charged as per non-insured rates. Please bring a credit card if this applies to you.

Please bring a list of medications and a knowledge of your personal medical and surgical history.

We may charge for services that are not covered by  the BC Medical Services Plan. Please see here for a list of uninsured services.
